Every Valentine’s Day, Dr. Theodore Siegel of Big Smile Dental opens his doors to the less fortunate people in our neighborhood. They have been able to treat more than
2,000 people and provide
over 1.25 MILLION dollars in free dentistry.
This Valentine’s Day, Big Smile Dental is giving away Free Dentistry again.
“Dentistry is a luxury that not everyone can afford” states Dr. Siegel. “I started this charity to help change the lives of those people that didn’t have enough money to take care of the things that you and I take for granted. But a funny thing happened along the way. It was my life that changed the most. And I feel truly blessed to be able to help others in need. I want to say thank you to the people that have supported me by giving a token of my sincere appreciation back to my community.”
Dr. Siegel who has been practicing dentistry in the Logan Square/Avondale area for 23 years wants to let everyone know that his entire staff insisted that they work this Valentine’s Day without pay. “My staff is my greatest asset, and I can’t tell you how proud I am of them for organizing and putting this benefit together.” Siegel stated.
“No one will be refused FREE treatment in my office on Valentine’s Day,” states Dr. Siegel, “but it is my hope that the truly needy in the community who fear dental bills more than they fear dental treatment, will be first in line to take advantage of this opportunity.
Big Smile Dental will be open on Valentine’s Day from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Patients must be at least 12 years of age to be seen, and accompanied by a parent or guardian if under the age of 18.
No appointments will be made, patients will be given a time for their treatment on a first come, first served basis on valentines morning and as much treatment will be accomplished as time allows. FREE treatment will include cleanings, x-rays, fillings, extractions, diagnostics, and pain control.
